Emily Massey

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I’m sure that you came here to learn about the company, Massey Real Estate, but I would also like to tell you a little about me, Emily Massey, and how Massey Real Estate began.

I was born and raised in the small town of Stanley, NC. I attended the University of NC at Charlotte and also began a career in the service industry in Charlotte. This career led me to work for one of the most amazing companies in the world, Morton’s of Chicago, The Steakhouse. I started as a server in downtown Charlotte, NC, then transferred to Atlanta, GA and worked my way to bartender, then to Sales and Catering Director by the age of 23. Here I marketed the restaurant, booked private events, helped manage a professional staff with a qualified management team, and met guests’ expectations with a WOW!!!

While in this position and throughout my professional career, I have learned how important it is to meet every individual client’s needs. I understand that every client is unique and will be looking for something different in every transaction that I encounter. I have found this out through working with many different types of people that have included entertainment, political, and corporate celebrities, as well as many professional athletes. While working in this environment, I became educated on what it takes to meet one’s standards, and to accommodate people’s personal needs.

I loved my job and the company that I worked for, but my husband and I were ready to start a family, and wanted to be near parents for support and help. We decided to move to Durham where my in-laws were, but unfortunately there wasn’t a Morton’s for us to transfer to in the Triangle, so we made the choice to branch out into a different field and start an automotive business with our family.

Shortly after moving, we discovered that we were expecting our first child. I was not going to find a job at this time, so my in-laws (in-loves) hired me to be their property manager for their rental properties. While obtaining my NC Real Estate Broker license and being trained in their company, our family began to grow.

Now, 2 kids and years later, I have been hired by many more clients who have either needed to buy, sell, or rent their investments. I enjoy helping people with such a large investment, whether it is their primary home, secondary home or retirement income for the future. I enjoy being part of an industry that is ever changing and where every transaction is unique in its own way, just as every piece of land is as well.

If you are interested in talking with me further about your real estate needs, please call me at (919) 401-5200. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for visiting!!

Emily

Régan Mercer

Régan was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She came to the Triangle with her family twenty years ago, when her parents left the Midwest for North Carolina to open what soon became an award-winning residential real estate development company. This early influence of the family business has given Régan an extremely unique insight into what goes into building a home. Before becoming a REALTOR®, Régan attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After college, she worked as a leasing specialist for a luxury apartment complex in Durham, during which time she obtained her Real Estate Salesperson license. In 2002, Régan obtained her Real Estate Broker license and opened Regan N. Mercer Realty, Inc., a company specializing in buyer agency relationships. Régan currently resides in Durham with her husband and their two children.

Kristi Worrell

I moved to the Raleigh area in 2004 after graduating from UNC Charlotte.  While working in the apartment industry, I discovered my passion for helping people find their home.  I learned that every person has unique needs, and I pride myself in the ability to listen, comprehend and evaluate situations to reach the best and most logical conclusions.  I decided to take the next step in my real estate career by earning my NC Real Estate License in 2010. I believe that North Carolina, especially the Triangle area, has so much to offer and is thus a wonderful place to live.   I am looking to build a long term relationship with every client and will commit myself completely to helping you with every step of renting, buying or selling your house.  I look forward to helping you with all your real estate needs.
